Obilet is projected to sell more than 30 million tickets annually in 2022, making it one of the top-3 bus ticketing platforms in the world. Obilet also set its vision to be the one-stop-shop for whole needs of users regarding the tourism and travel products by expanding its category offerings with the addition of hotel booking and car rental services. Moreover, Obilet is about to launch its international expansion in H2 2022, by when it will have one of the largest, if not the most, coverage of markets globally.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Execution of Romania Obilet accounting processes
  • Managing of daily expense invoices
  • Issuing and accounting of sales invoices
  • Recording all negotiable documents and books in accordance with legal regulations
  • Completing reconciliations by controlling the relevant accounts
  • Checking all trial balance items in accordance with the month closing calendar
  • Checking, reconciling and reporting all trial balance items to the Accounting Manager in accordance with the month's closing calendar
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly statements
  • Following the changes in the legislation regularly and up-to-date
  • Providing the requested information for full certification and independent audit studies
  • Reporting to the Accounting Manager in all financial matters and meeting incoming request

Job requirements

To be successful in this role, you need to have:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
  • Advanced level of spoken and written English
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably at big4 company
  • Experienced in reporting and data analysis
  • Having knowledge about LOGO program
  • SMMM Certificate is preferred
  • Experienced in E-invoice applications and processes
  • Able to use MS Office programs effectively
  • Having no obstacle to travel
